Inbox

The Inbox gathers your LinkedIn conversations in a single mailbox. There you read your prospects' replies, have the AI draft a reply, review it and send it.

This chapter describes the filters, the copilot, the drafts to review, saved replies, the nightly crawl of dormant conversations and opt-outs.

1. What the Inbox contains

Available

The Inbox shows the conversations of your connected LinkedIn account. Reading messages costs no credits.

The platform syncs the Inbox once a day. To fetch new messages right away, click "Refresh". A new sync is possible 10 minutes after the previous one.

When a prospect replies to a campaign, their conversation appears here and they leave all the sequences that target them. See Campaigns.

Receiving e-mails and WhatsApp messages is planned (Planned). Today, the Inbox is fed by LinkedIn.

Available

The filters, at the top of the list:

FilterWhat it shows
AllAll your conversations, most recent first.
To replyThe prospect wrote the last message.
OpportunitiesDormant conversations that the nightly crawl flagged against a Target.
To reviewA draft is written and waits for your approval before it can go out.
UnreadConversations you have not opened yet.
ArchivedFiled conversations. They are excluded from the other filters.

To search, type a name or a word in "Search a contact or a message…".

The "Actions on this thread" menu offers "Mark as read", "Mark as unread", "Archive" and "Unarchive". These actions change nothing on LinkedIn.

3. Read a conversation

Available

Click a conversation to open it. The "Prospect context" panel shows:

  • the person's score against your Target, out of 10;
  • the campaign in progress for this person, their step and the next action;
  • "About to go out": the pending campaign sends for this person.

If the person does not have a prospect record yet, "Fetch and open" reads their LinkedIn profile and creates the record. This action costs no credits. It uses one profile read from the day's LinkedIn budget.

Attachments open on LinkedIn or download with "Download".

4. Reply

Available

To reply:

  1. Open the conversation.
  2. Type your text in the "Reply to … on LinkedIn…" field.
  3. Click "Send", or press Ctrl (⌘) + Enter.

Sending a reply costs no credits. The reply counts toward the account's message limit: 80 per day by default. Above that, a reply you type yourself still goes through, up to a safety limit of 160 messages per day. See Limits and security.

If the send is refused, your text stays in the field and nothing was sent.

5. The copilot and quick actions

Available

The quick actions menu (✨ icon) offers:

ActionWhat it doesCost
Suggest a replyDrafts a reply in your brand's voice, based on the whole conversation.3 credits
Suggest a timeSteers the conversation toward a live conversation and asks for availability.3 credits
Follow upFollows up on an exchange that went quiet, without reproach or false urgency.3 credits
Proofread my draftFixes what is wrong in your text, without changing the substance.3 credits
Summarise the threadShows where the exchange stands, what the person asked for and what they promised.0 credits

The suggested text is inserted into the input field. You review it, then send it yourself. The copilot never sends on your behalf.

The "AI Copilot" button opens a conversation with the assistant about this thread. You can ask it, for example:

Summarize this thread in a few sentences.
Suggest a reply.
Suggest a meeting for next steps.

With the assistant

Available

The assistant's "Inbox" tab works on a conversation you choose. It reads the thread, suggests a reply and saves a draft. To send, it shows you an "Approval required" card with the recipient and an excerpt of the text. Nothing goes out until you click "Approve".

The assistant never reads the raw text of your contacts. It receives a controlled summary of the conversation. See Limits and security.

6. Drafts to review

Available

A draft can be written by the copilot or by the nightly crawl. It appears in the "To review" filter. The draft block shows its origin: "Drafted by the copilot" or "Drafted by the night crawl".

To handle a draft:

  1. Open the "To review" filter, then the conversation.
  2. Read the text. To change it, click "Edit the text", then "Save".
  3. Click "Approve" to send it, or "Dismiss" to reject it.

An approved draft goes out during the Inbox send window: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, Paris time. If you approve it outside this window, it goes out when the window next opens. The draft block shows when it will go out.

An edited draft goes back to "To review": an earlier approval is cancelled. A dismissed draft can be put back for review with "Restore".

7. Saved replies

Available

Saved replies are texts you write once and insert in one click. They cost no credits.

To create a saved reply:

  1. In a conversation, open "Saved replies", then "Manage replies".
  2. Click "New reply".
  3. Enter a "Label" (80 characters at most) and the "Text" (4,000 characters at most).
  4. Click "Create".

The variable {prenom} is replaced with the contact's first name on insertion. It is removed if the first name is unknown.

Your workspace can keep 50 saved replies. Inserting a reply sends nothing: you review it, then click "Send".

8. The nightly opportunity crawl

Available

Every night, the crawl rereads your dormant conversations and scores them against the Targets you choose. When a conversation matches a Target, it marks it "Opportunity" and drafts a reply. It never sends anything.

The crawl is off by default. Arming it commits you to a cost that repeats every night.

To arm it:

  1. Open the "Opportunities" filter, then "Arm the crawl". The same setting is in "Workspace settings", "Inbox" section.
  2. Tick "Arm the nightly crawl".
  3. In "Up to N threads analyzed per night", choose a number. 25 at most.
  4. In "Targets to score", choose at least one Target.
  5. Click "Save".

The cap is shared between the chosen Targets: adding a Target does not double the cost. The crawl spaces its reads about 2 minutes apart to protect your LinkedIn account.

What an analyzed conversation costs:

  • one LinkedIn profile read, from the day's budget, with no credits;
  • the evaluation against the Target: 2 credits. A person already evaluated for this Target is not evaluated again;
  • if the conversation is flagged, drafting the reply: 3 credits.

A conversation already analyzed and unchanged is not charged again.

In the list, "Dismiss" removes an opportunity and "Restore" brings it back. The detail of an opportunity shows the persona, the main angle, the relevance signals and the points to check.

To disarm, untick "Arm the nightly crawl" and save. Opportunities already flagged stay visible.

9. Bulk sending to a segment

Planned

There is no screen today to send a prepared reply to everyone in a Target's folder. To reply to several people, approve their drafts one by one in the "To review" filter.

10. A person who no longer wants to be contacted

Available

When a person asks not to be contacted anymore, mark them as opted out. Then:

  • no message goes out to them, on any channel;
  • their campaigns in progress stop;
  • they no longer appear in the prospect lists;
  • you can reply to them once, to acknowledge their request. No follow-up can go out.

The platform detects this kind of request when it reads the thread. It then shows "This person asks not to be contacted anymore."

To mark a person as opted out:

  1. Click "Mark as opted out" (in the conversation or on the prospect record).
  2. Choose the "Origin" and, if you want, a "Reason".
  3. Click "Confirm opt-out".

If the person does not have a prospect record yet, first fetch their record with "Fetch and open".

Only an owner or an administrator of the workspace can lift an opt-out, and only at the person's request. See Account and team.

With the assistant

The assistant ("Inbox" and "Command" tabs) can offer to mark a person as opted out. It shows you a card that you approve.
